NewsPT Sponsor of the EP Tom Sawyer Triathlon"Tom" Sawyer State Park Triathlon XXVII "Tom" Sawyer State Park is proud to host its 27th annual Triathlon on August 2. The race is a USAT sanctioned event that consists of a ½ mile swim, 14 mile bike ride and 5K run. All phases of the race will be held either on the park grounds or on the surrounding roads. Both individuals and teams are welcome, with registration opening on May 26th and running through July 27th. The race fee is $55 for individuals and $90 for teams. In addition, a $10 one-day insurance fee is required for all non-USAT members. All race participants will receive an official triathlon shirt and prizes will be awarded both to age group winners and overall winners.
